According to local Florence outlet Il Tirrenno, Liverpool are not interested in Sofyan Amrabat.

They report that a number of clubs have looked at the Moroccan as an option with varying levels of interest though now only Manchester United remain in the hunt after the Reds’ ‘moved away’ having signed Wataru Endo this week.

Owen Hargreaves left stunned by Wataru Endo after Liverpool debut

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves believes Liverpool have completed a “steal” of a signing in Wataru Endo.

The Japan captain came off the bench for his Reds appearance against Bournemouth yesterday having completed a £16m move from VfB Stuttgart on Friday.

Hargreaves, also a former Bayern Munich man, analysed Endo’s move from the Bundesliga when speaking to Premier League productions and was complimentary of his strengths.

Otavio to Al Nassr

Otavio was heavily linked with following Luis Diaz from Porto to Liverpool last summer, but of course the Reds since added Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo to their ranks and now the Brazilian winger appears to be on the verge of signing for Al Nassr.

The latest word from Rudy Galetti is this is a ‘done deal’.

Former Liverpool midfielder Sergi Canos has signed for Valencia.

The 26-year-old has spent the last six years at Brentford, one of which was spent at Olympiacos on loan, but has now left the Bees on a permanent basis.

Canos is now back in his home country and joins a Valencia side who have two wins fronm two in La Liga.

Bajcetic message

Stefan Bajcetic has admitted he hopes to be “soon on the pitch” after making Liverpool’s matchday squad for the first time since March.

The Spanish midfielder missed the second half of last season due to injury, but is now closing in on a return to action alongside Thiago.

Bajcetic was named on bench for yesterday’s game with Bournemouth, though was not deployed by Jurgen Klopp.

Bakayoko warning

Liverpool have recently been linked with a move for PSV forward Johan Bakayoko, though such reports appear to have have come as a surprise in the Netherlands.

Bakayoko, who enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Eredivisie last term, is 20 years of age and has been capped for Belgium a total of four times.

Of the view that a transfer to Liverpool would be too soon in his career at this stage, former PSV and Ajax forward Wim Kieft wrote: “Why? Because you think you can pick him up now for €20m or €25m, and otherwise pay €60m in two years.

“Bakayoko has qualities as a right winger, but something different is asked in the Premier League than against FC Utrecht or Sturm Graz. In the encounter with the Austrians in Eindhoven, he continuously overtook his direct opponent.

“In one match he passed more often than in all his matches for PSV put together. Sturm Graz had not adjusted sufficiently to Bakayoko.

“He plays more safe when teams adapt to him. He often lacks guts, while he possesses the qualities to go inside and out. The latter is ideal for Luuk de Jong. A little more initiative wouldn’t hurt. But Liverpool at this stage of his career…”

Sanagre battle

Bayern Munich are said to be the main side battling Liverpool for the services of PSV midfielder, Ibrahim Sanagre.

A latest report has suggested Thomas Tuchel’s side are ‘closer than ever’ to landing Sanagre, though it is added Liverpool have not yet given up hope of a deal regardless.
