Mohamed Salah transfer stance confirmed as Jürgen Klopp outlines triple Liverpool injury absence
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has outlined the latest on Mohamed Salah amid links to the Saudi Pro League while a triple injury blow has also been detailed.
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that two players will definitely be missing against Newcastle United through injury while Ibrahima Konaté is a doubt. The Reds boss has also made clear his stance amid links to Saudi Arabia for Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool boss Klopp has confirmed that Curtis Jones and Thiago will not be playing against Newcastle on Sunday but should be back in full training on Monday while Konaté has a minor issue.
Salah, meanwhile, is not for sale, Klopp said. No offer has been received by Liverpool despite talk of Saudi Arabian interest and the Reds would certainly not welcome any interest before the transfer deadline.
There is nothing to talk about from our point of view,” Klopp explained when asked about speculation about Salah in his press conference. “We don’t have an offer. Mo Salah is our player. If there was something there, the answer would be ‘no’.”
