He’s ‘vulnerable’ and needs to be replacement for title challenge – pundit
Tottenham are currenSpurstly in the title race, while Ange Postecoglou continues to impress as manager.Spurs’ new manager has made a huge impact since arriving from Celtic and deserves a lot of credit for the way he has handled things since the loss of Harry Kane. However, Tony Cascarino believes need someone better than Richarlison if they are to compete after Christmas.
Expert says Tottenham needs better than RicharlisonCascarino said this morning alongside Natalie Sawyer that he believes the Brazilian is the vulnerable player in Tottenham’s current selection.“I think they can be (in the title race) if they can hold out until Christmas and then sign a contract that adds even more to their forward line.
I think it’s inevitable. Unless Richarlison finds a phase in his game that noticeably improves and takes him to a new level. He is the most vulnerable in the forward line and you think there should be more of him,” Cascarino said. The pressure is greatAs if the pressure of succeeding Harry Kane wasn’t enough, the fact that Richarlison has failed to hit any form makes things even more difficult for him.The Brazilian is clearly a talented striker and you can’t become Brazil’s number nine without doing something right.
But Cascarino is there. If Tottenham want to progress and stay in the running, they need a striker in their team who can score.Richarlison is not that type of man at the moment and in January it would be no surprise to see Daniel Levy sign a new striker.
