In order to regain his spot in the first team, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has said that he must accept his current status at Tottenham and take what he can from it. Following the arrival of Ange Postecoglou as head coach, the Dane’s minutes have dried up despite previously being one of the first names on the teamsheet under Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo, and Antonio Conte.

The 28-year-old has discussed his present situation at Tottenham while serving as a member of the Danish national team. The midfielder has stated that he hasn’t been given a reason for his decrease in playing time and that he would keep working hard on the training field at Hotspur Way in an effort to regain his spot.

When asked if he had gotten an explanation for losing his spot, Hojbjerg responded, “I don’t have that dialogue, to be honest,” as quoted by Sport Witness via Ekstra Bladet. “My strategy is to keep the attention on the things I can control. If I am called upon, I must be prepared to assist the team. I thus take care to exercise hard and maintain my course.
