New Zealand set up Rugby World Cup final clash with England or South Africa
In the Rugby World Cup final of 2023, New Zealand will play either South Africa or England after defeating Argentina 44-6 in the semifinals.
In pursuit of their fourth world championship in their history, the All Blacks destroyed the Pumas at the Stade de France.
Will Jordan’s hat-trick and Shannon Frizell’s double were among New Zealand’s seven tries, while Jordie Barrett and Aaron Smith both scored one.
On Saturday, the All Blacks will find out who they will play against in the final, which is a rematch of the South Africa-winning 2019 match between England and the Springboks.
Argentina has just been outmatched; despite their best efforts, they haven’t been successful. Justin Marshall, a former scrum-half from New Zealand, told the BBC.
“The All Blacks were outstanding.” I believe the All Blacks were ready to play right from the start; they gave off the impression that they were. They became proficient in the set-piece, especially the scrum, as the game progressed.
“New Zealand will be happy with their performance because they kept enough pressure on Argentina, won penalties from the scrum, and scored a try from it.”
Ian Foster, the head coach, has been vindicated. Foster received criticism, but his players were the ones who gave him the most encouragement.
After the game, Jordie Barrett, a center from New Zealand, said, “It’s so sweet.” For this gang, it’s unfamiliar ground. Four years ago, we failed at the semi-final stage.
“I simply can’t get enough of this group.” It’s not yet finished. Regardless of who we play next week, it will be an extremely difficult contest.
We are so thankful that another week has come. The weather [today] was actually somewhat helpful to us.
We were able to advance and use the greasy ball to slightly test their skill.
But how will it all end?
