James Maddison shares what Ange Postecoglou told Tottenham’s players in the changing room after Fulham win

Following Tottenham Hotspur’s victory over Fulham last night, Ange Postecoglou spoke with the players in the locker room. James Maddison has revealed what he said.

After netting his first goal at Tottenham’s stadium and leading them to a 2-0 victory over Marco Silva’s team, Maddison talked with Spurs Play.

With a superb strike from Son Heung-min in the first half, Spurs rightfully led 1-0 at the half.

Within ten minutes of the second half’s start, Maddison and Son combined to extend Tottenham’s lead.

But following Maddison’s goal, Spurs played a lackluster game, and it’s safe to say that Ange Postecoglou wasn’t impressed with his team.

Madison relays Postecoglou’s remarks following Tottenham’s victory against Fulham.

Maddison was questioned by Spurs Play over Postecoglou’s response to their performance in the second half.

To be honest, he remarked, “It was kind of the same.” “Clearly excited to win the match, enter the locker room, and the referee is not at all pleased.

However, he thought the effort in the second half was a little sloppy, a little complacent, and a little off. It’s merely a sobering reminder. However, that is who he is and how he thinks, which is presumably why he has succeeded everywhere he has gone.

“We will think about that. Hear me out, though: even when we’re not at our best, we’ve experienced some memorable moments.

“I think we’ll all be delighted with that overall because we scored in the second half and created some chances.”

With their victory last night, Tottenham reclaimed their top spot in the table, surpassing teams like Manchester City and Arsenal. However, the fact that Postecoglou wasn’t happy with the performance is positive for Spurs.

Spurs were outstanding off the ball yesterday night, and their determination to press high was the source of both of their goals.

However, Postecoglou raised an excellent point following the match when he said that his team let up after taking a 2-0 lead.

In the second half, Tottenham was careless with the ball and gave Fulham several good chances.

Though there is certainly much more to come from this youthful team, Spurs fans are thrilled that their team still deserved to win three points that evening.
