Thousands of enthusiastic fans of the Springboks flocked to Umhlanga to meet and welcome the Rugby World Cup winners.

Among the fans was a group of friends from Ballito, a small town on the north coast, who had the bright idea to convert their Toyota bakkie’s rear into a “baccuzi.”

After selecting their location by 8am, the cheerful companions did not take long to generate enthusiastic backing for the spectators.

Even the police were won over to our proposal despite the loud music. In an attempt to garner support, we began by performing the Mexican wave, according to Chapman.

A commotion was created among the hordes of fans by their plan.

Law enforcement, the eThekwini metro, and private security are keeping a close vigil.

According to Chapman, he and his friends were excited to meet captain Siya Kolisi, who they believe is responsible for the Springboks’ success.

“Our goal was to introduce the beach to the Boks.” They put forth a lot of effort to reach this incredible milestone, according to Alex Chapman.

The friends expressed their satisfaction with the attendance at the affluent town situated to the north of Durban.
