Epic fail! Springboks’ Rugby World Cup trophy tour bus crashes
The ceremonial bus that transported the Rugby World Cup winners of the Springboks throughout the nation has crashed.
After defeating New Zealand 12–11 in Paris, South Africa won their fourth Webb Ellis Cup, which they have been celebrating.
Supporters have had the chance to honor their Bok heroes as they have been traversing the country.
Party atmosphere
With them visiting Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and East London, there has been a celebratory vibe throughout the nation.
South Africa became the first team to win the World Cup four times, and both players and supporters celebrated their victory.
But the bus that took them throughout South Africa crashed, apparently due to a malfunctioning brake system.
Luckily, it happened after the festivities were over and without any of the winning Springboks players, coaches, or backroom staff there.
The bus was travelling to Johannesburg when the brakes failed, according to the Citizen, and crashed outside Maletswai.
Unathi Binqose, the Eastern Cape transport spokesperson, confirmed the incident after it ploughed into the gate of 74-year-old local resident Vida Jordaan in Aliwal North.

Players and fans alike found those few days to be unforgettable, and inspired Springboks captain Siya Kolisi stated that the team would draw inspiration from it going forward.
“We as a team will remain motivated by the lessons we learned over the past few days, even though the Springboks might not play again until the following year,” Kolisi stated.
Once more, we regret not being able to visit every province and community; nevertheless, due to our need to return to our clubs, this was not feasible. But we are aware that we would have gotten the same fervor and support in every province.
