Springboks’ player thrilled about his new job

Springboks’ Willie le Roux thrilled about his new job

The two-time World Cup-winning Springboks star has recently transferred to the Bulls in Pretoria and on Thursday spoke about his eagerness to make a lasting impression at Loftus.

THE RETURN OF WILLIE LE ROUX

Willie le Roux was a key player in the Springboks’ 12-11 triumph over the All Blacks in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final, which took place little than a month ago.

Le Roux became one of 23 players in the Springbok team to win the World Cup twice in a row as a consequence of the victory.

Prior to the 2023 World Cup officially beginning, Le Roux’s return to South Africa following the RWC was announced. He had previously played for Toyota Verblitz as a club.

Well, with the World Cup and the subsequent after-party now well and truly over, Le Roux — along with fellow World Cup winners Marco van Staden, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Canan Moodie — reported for duty at Loftus earlier this week.

SPRINGBOKS’ STAR MAN KEEN TO IMPRESS AT BULLS

The Springbok posted a number of pictures of himself on Thursday at Loftus during Bulls practice, expressing in the caption how happy he is to be able to play for Jake White’s squad.

“Excited to begin my Bulls journey!” The first week of training is in the books, and the anticipation is palpable. The Springbok stated on X (the old Twitter) that he was eager to give the team his all both on and off the field.
