49ers Star Details Why This Eagles Game Is Different
When the San Francisco 49ers play the 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, they will have the chance to make a major impression.
Of course, the Eagles crushed them in the NFC Championship Game from the previous season, when Brock Purdy, the quarterback, tore his UCL in the first quarter of the game while throwing the ball.
The Niners’ standout defensive end, Nick Bosa, told David Lombardi that this game will be different from the previous one because both teams are looking for revenge. The Eagles lost in the Super Bowl after the Niners’ season ended in January.
The Niners will try to capitalize on that shortcoming by having George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and Deebo Samuel all have excellent games at tight end and wide receiver, respectively.
With 881 yards and five touchdowns this season, Aiyuk in particular is enjoying a fantastic campaign. He also leads the team in yards per reception (19.6).
