NFL Draft Analyst Praises Key Position in 2024 Class: ‘Loaded OT Class’

NFL Analyst Praises Position Group Bengals Could Target in 2024 Draft: It’s ‘Loaded’

One analyst believes it’s a great year to need a tackle.

“Teams are going to have the top 8-10 offensive tackles in all different orders,” Daniel Jeremiah tweeted. “They are each outstanding but come with different skills and traits. I don’t think there’s a clear cut top guy right now. A bunch of guys competing for that top spot. Great year to need one! Loaded OT class.”

The Bengals are expected to bring back four of their five starting offensive linemen next season, but right tackle Jonah Williams is set to become a free agent in March.

After spending five years in Cincinnati, the veteran will get a chance to sign elsewhere. Assuming that happens, the Bengals will certainly address the offensive tackle spot and could do so in the first round for the first time since taking Williams with the 11th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

We’ll learn more about Cincinnati’s options over the next few months, but taking an offensive tackle is certainly on the table.
