Following a favorable report from club scouts, Tottenham enters the competition to capture a gifted winger with four goals and five assists.

The Tottenham Hotspur team is hard at work scouting opponents in anticipation of the summer transfer window.

The Turkish news source Sabah claims that Spurs have added Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz on their summer “transfer list” after inadvertently becoming pleased by him.

Spurs sent scouts to Turkey primarily to keep an eye on midfield player Tanguy Ndombele’s play, who is presently on loan at Galatasaray until the end of the season.

Spurs personnel, however, couldn’t help but notice Ndombele’s potential talent during their appraisal of the teenage winger, and they have now “joined the race” to recruit him.

According to Transfermarkt, Yilmaz is now under contract with the Super Lig club through June 2027, and his estimated worth is €7.5 million.

Tottenham may have to pay a high price to acquire his skills, though, as Galatasaray is reportedly asking for more than €20 million for the 23-year-old.

Yilmaz has already had a big impression this season despite his youth, playing in 38 games across all competitions, contributing to five assists and four goals scored.

Yilmaz is usually used as a right winger, although he has also shown versatility by playing other positions. He has been used as a left-winger seven times, a left-back seven times, a right-back three times, and a striker twice, according positional data on Transfermarkt.

Says TBH:

Tottenham’s vast scouting network keeps growing, demonstrating the team’s dedication to finding talent all across the world.

Spurs are considering a number of bright possibilities, Baris Alper Yilmaz being only one of them as they make plans for the future.
