BREAKING:Will The New York Giant Betray Expectations And Draft A QB One Analyst Think So
Any fan of the New York Giants who is asked about their club’s current quarterback predicament is likely to go on an explicit rant about how the team isn’t ready to take chances
Despite his poor 2023 season, which resulted in his benching in favor of Tommy DeVito, Daniel Jones has taken the public position that the NFL and its supporters know he will be around for one more season. Some supporters would even assert that if Danny Dimes stays at quarterback, they won’t be shocked if the Giants finish last in the NFC East.
As they consider their alternatives for the 2024 Draft, a recent report implies that the organization may be taking a quick one. According to an insider, selecting a quarterback is still an option for them.
An insider with the New York Giants says the organization plans to pick a quarterback to take Daniel Jones’ job.
Dan Benton of Giants Wire reported about the attitude against Daniel Jones within the Giants organization. Mike Dunleavy of the New York Post reports that there is a striking lack of faith in Jones’ abilities:
Take a brief look at Jones’ 2023 statistics to understand why everyone is so unsure about his future. Jones was benched for the remainder of the 2023 season after just six games. He only finished with 909 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and a career-low 5.7 yards per pass attempt during that time.
Additionally, Dunleavy disclosed that the New York GIants would not select a quarterback with their first pick if they were to make one.
The Bears should be able to select a high-ceiling signal caller in the second round of the 2024 QB draft because the class is deeper than in previous years.
