INJURY REPORT: MONTREAL CANADIENS JAYDEN STRUBLE MISSES NEXT MATCH

Defenseman Jayden Struble will miss the Montreal Canadiens’ game against the Arizona Coyotes tonight for the second time in a row due to an upper-body ailment, the team has confirmed.

The 22-year-old defenceman departed the Pittsburgh Penguins game on Thursday during the third period and did not come back. This season, Struble had alternated between Laval and Montreal. He has three goals and four assists in 39 games with Montreal for a total of seven points. In the 12 games he has played with the Laval Rocket, he has one goal and five assists.

 

Jonathan Kovacevic will once again find his way into the Habs lineup with Struble out. Kovacevic has six goals and three assists for nine points in 48 games. The Ontario native played on Saturday as well, with Struble out after being a healthy scratch last Thursday in Pittsburgh
