Louisville Cardinals Solidify Roster for 2024–25 Season Under Coach Pat Kelsey

In a remarkable turnaround, the Louisville Cardinals men’s basketball team has undergone a significant roster transformation under the leadership of first-year head coach Pat Kelsey. Following a challenging period marked by multiple player departures, Kelsey has successfully assembled a new lineup poised to restore the program’s competitive edge in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). 

 

Key Returning Players

 

Despite the extensive roster changes, the Cardinals have retained several pivotal players who are expected to play crucial roles in the upcoming season. 

Chucky Hepburn (Senior, Guard): A transfer from Wisconsin, Hepburn has emerged as a cornerstone of the team. Known for his defensive prowess, he was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and earned First-Team All-ACC honors.
